The ºÚÁÏÍø Forums

The ºÚÁÏÍø Forums are three independent e-communities for those involved in the education of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (ºÚÁÏÍø). 

Whilst all three forums reside on the same platform, they are independently moderated and each has its own home page. When you sign up for an account, you will have access to all forums, so please be aware that any messages you write will be viewable by other members of the forums.

The SLD Forum

The SLD Forum is an independent community of people, mainly education professionals, with a particular interest in Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties. 

The forum provides opportunities for people to ask questions, offer suggestions, discuss and debate, and share information and resources, in the field of SLD. To join the forum follow the link below and complete the short ‘request to join’ form.  You will need to provide a login name, preferred password and accept our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Once approved, you will be sent a link by e-mail to join the forum.

The ºÚÁÏÍø & ICT Forum

The ºÚÁÏÍøICT Forum is an independent community of people, mainly education professionals, with a particular interest in ICT and its application to special educational needs and disabilities (ºÚÁÏÍø). 

The forum provides opportunities for people to ask questions, offer suggestions, discuss and debate, and share information and resources, in the field of ºÚÁÏÍø. To join the forum, follow the link below and complete the short ‘request to join’ form.  You will need to provide a login name, preferred password and accept our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. The SENCO Forum

The SENCO Forum is an independent community of people, mainly education professionals, with a particular interest in special educational needs and disabilities (ºÚÁÏÍø). Many members are SENCOs (special educational needs coordinators) but this is not a requirement – everyone who is involved in ºÚÁÏÍø is welcome, including class teachers, teaching assistants, advisers, consultants, parents, young people etc. The forum also welcomes members from across the United Kingdom and has a significant international membership (e.g. SENCOs working in international schools or support services).
