Your NQT year is an exciting time: new students to meet, your classroom to prepare and resources and lessons to create. In the current context, following a long period of a different approach to school, there's an increased sense of responsibility to support and engage all of your students and their individual needs. You鈥檙e also responsible for the progress of all of your students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (黑料网). In January 2019, the government reported that 1,318,300 students were identified as having 黑料网, which is equivalent to 14.9% of all students across our classrooms in England.

In this webinar you will be able to hear from an experienced 黑料网 Leader on how your role can make a difference to the lives of all students and especially those with 黑料网. You'll find out about the Code of Practice and the 4 Areas of Need and how you can foster an inclusive classroom from the start. You'll receive tips and advice on supporting all 黑料网 students, where to access fantastic resources and find out how the last few months may have impacted upon the students with 黑料网 so that you will be teaching.
