A organised by and Children North East will look at how schools can support children鈥檚 mental health and wellbeing through poverty proofing. As the cost of living crisis is predicted to last well into next year and possibly beyond, the impact of this on children鈥檚 ability to learn will be ever more exacerbated especially in the already deprived areas of the country.  The discussion will highlight the link between poverty and children鈥檚 mental health and outline some of the simple ways that schools can help increase awareness of poverty and measures they can take to ease the issue within school.
